Race distance has been measured accurately

By a GPS device or calibrated wheel (not an odometer from vehicle)

Route is mapped

And will be available to participants before the race

Participants will register manually or electronically

And will sign a valid waiver form

Participants will wear numbered bibs

This will help with confirming results and identifying runners

Timing will adhere to PEI Roadrunners standards

Either a professional chip timing company or using the PEI Roadrunners race clock and manual timers

Washroom facilities will be available

At the start and finish

Drinking water will be available

Races longer than 5km will have a water stop during the run and at the start and finish line.

Course marshals will be present if/where traffic is a concern

A trained first aid responder will be present

If approved as a points series race, a sanctioning fee of $50 will be paid

The event either has its own insurance or the race director is a PEI Roadrunner member

Results will be sent to the PEI Roadrunners as soon as possible
