Jacob Simmons Bursary
Since 1977, The Prince Edward Island Roadrunners club has been celebrating and promoting running on the Island. People of all ages enjoy the sport of running and we feel it is important to encourage this in our youth. This year we are offering bursaries to runners in support of their future education. In 2020 the PEI Roadrunners named the Bursary in memory of the 2019 PEI Male Roadrunner of the Year – Jacob Simmons. Jacob, 27, was the victim of a fatal accident in June 2020.
