2024 Inspirational Runner of the Year: Anne MacArthur

Anne MacArthur participated in 11 Point Series events plus the Points East Relay and several off Island events. A long-time cancer survivor Anne is never seen in anything less than great spirits, equally happy at the start and finish lines. Not scared of a challenge Anne signed up for the Bonshaw 10km trail race, the 15km Desmond Baglole Scenic Road Run and the PEI Half Marathon.

Anne is also a key promoter of the Wednesday night Running Room group.

One of Anne’s Peers says… Anne is MORE than willing to share her running experience, provide guidance to new runners and cheer them on in their own accomplishments. She is friendly, welcoming and focused on making sure everyone feels part of the running community she holds close. Congrats Anne you are The Inspirational Roadrunner of the Year.
