2024 Most Improved Runner: Beibei Jia

Beibei is a huge supporter of many of the PEI Roadrunners events, You’ll see her at most of the popular races and a high percentage of the races we sanction overall.

Beibei recently bested her previous best marathon time of 3:46 with a remarkable 3:29:58… an impressive improvement in a year.

It is so great to see BeiBei win this award. She exemplifies what happens in the running community. One starts out slow, a bit lacking in confidence for long distances and with time, work, and group support becomes a very competitive long distance runner. Her enthusiasm is infectious and she can be very competitive when the need arises.... she is a very kind and caring individual who helps out others, and contributes to their moral support, while providing some great fun for her fellow runners.
